Burlington Developments proposed the redevelopment of the Chalk Lane Hotel in Epsom to provide 21 luxury apartments. Our proposals included the extension and conversion of the existing listed building, together with landscaped communal gardens and residents parking. We worked closely with the Local Planning authority to ensure the character and listed features of the property are enhanced and emphasised as part of what will be a sensitive restoration. A key requirement has been to provide sufficient on-site residents parking. This was crucial in order to alleviate the burden of traffic on the narrow ancillary roads surrounding the site. Planning permission was granted in February 2018. The site is expected to be completed by Q3 2020.
